Elevating Walgreen Health Solutions Products and Services with Innovative Digital Solutions and Marketing

Walgreen Health Solutions is a world-wide company providing high-quality pressure injury prevention and treatment solutions.  They are a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) located in Evanston, Illinois.  

The company is known for its innovative approach in the prevention and treat of pressure ulcers and wanted to fully embrace digital marketing and technology solutions that are both adaptable and sustainable.

ESTABLISHING BRAND IDENTITY 

Our team wanted to use the brand identity as the foundation for all our designs, so we had to ensure it was cohesive across all of our work.  Once we had the brand identity figured out, we turned our attention to web design and development. 

The first step was clearly communicating Walgreen Health Solutions mission and values as well as goals, products and more. The designs and concept were then applied to various digital tools including an interactive newsletter, an online calculator, social media graphics, content and more.  

WEBSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

We knew that the new website had to be an accurate representation of Walgreen’Health Solutions products and services, but we also needed to consider the needs of its customers.  Our team wanted to create a site that would allow users to easily find information on any topic they were looking for, while still providing them with a rich experience when they visited.  We focused on simplifying the design so it could be easily read on mobile devices while still providing valuable information in a compelling way.

We were able to help Walgreen Health Solutions develop a brand identity by creating custom graphics and promotional materials that fit their company’s needs perfectly!

ONLINE INTERACTIVE CALCULATOR.  THIS IS A BIG DEAL!!  WE USE COMPLEX MATH & CODING WITH PHENOMENAL RESULTS.  

We also developed an online calculator that is simple to use. Users can input their facility’s information and hit the “calculate savings” button to see the results. The calculator allows the user to see the following:

• Recaps the information entered by the user
• Calculates a projected number of patients with Hospital-Acquired Heel Pressure Ulcers
• Shows the cost of treating Heel Pressure ulcers broken out by stage I-II and Stage III-IV.
• Calculates how much your facility will save by using the Heelift Suspension Boot family of products.
The calculator works seamlessly within the website and visitors can easily find it.  More importantly, it allows facilities, doctors and professionals to see the cost savings in seconds.  The results page shows you exactly how much use of the Heelift Suspension boot on at-risk patients will save your facility. Based on the information you’ve provided, you’ll see not only the total cost associated with the
prevention and treatment of heel pressure ulcers, but also how much of that cost can be avoided with the
Heelift Suspension Boot family of products.  

NEWSLETTER AND DIGITAL SOLUTIONS 

Next, we turned our attention to creating and designing an interactive newsletter that allowed people who signed up for updates from Walgreen Health Solutions to receive news in their inboxes.  In addition to our design services, we also helped Walgreen Health Solutions manage their social media accounts on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter while providing insights and analytics into what was working well and where we might need to pivot and make changes.   All-in-all, the entire project was a winning success.
